Used the VORN QRR pack on my Alberta mule deer hunt. I loved being able to use both hands to glass or whatever else I needed while still having quick access to my rifle. And it was roomy enough to easily pack all my gear for the day.

Hunt for better
VORN’s story began in Trondheim, Norway, where a mechanical engineer student couldn’t find an ideal way of carrying his rifle when hunting.
Driven to solve the problem he made a prototype of bicycle parts, an aluminum frame and a rough stitched backpack. The prototype worked exactly as he had planned, but it could be even better and was torn apart to be refined further.
This mindset has defined us from day one. Every detail matters. No idea is considered finished until all possibilities have been explored.

A modular system gives you flexibility where you can customize your ideal setup to different hunting situations instead of one fixed backpack.
The DLS system is a modular carrying system that allows you to build your own setup.
You can adjust capacity and components depending on your needs.
Yes, the SR10 can be combined with a RH - Rifle Holder from our DLS consept.
This allows you to reduce the weight on your shoulder compared to carrying the rifle in a sling alone.
The integrated shooting rest provides stable support when shooting.
It is built from robust stainless steel, making it extremely stable and reliable in hunting situations. The rest is always available and does not require any additional equipment, allowing you to quickly establish a stable shooting position when needed.
The SR10 is a lightweight hip pack designed for short hunts and driven hunting.
It allows you to carry essential gear while keeping your upper body free. In addition, the integrated shooting rest provides stable support when shooting, giving you better control without the need for extra equipment.
This makes the SR10 a practical solution in situations where mobility and fast, controlled shots are important.
Yes, carrying the rifle on your back in a stable, upward-facing position is one of the safest ways to move.
It keeps the rifle controlled and reduces risk for both the hunter and others.
Hands-free carrying allows you to move safely, use optics, and maintain balance in the terrain.
It improves both safety and efficiency during the hunt. Read more here.
The backpacks are built using high-performance technical materials that provide strong protection against rain and wet conditions, but no backpack with seams and zippers can be considered fully waterproof in real use.
VORN uses two different fabric systems depending on the product line:
QRR Rifle Backpacks
Fabric: V-Tex
The QRR backpacks use V-Tex fabric with a 40,000 mm water column.
This means the material itself is waterproof under extreme conditions and provides very high resistance to rain, snow and moisture.
However, seams and zippers can be potential entry points for water during prolonged exposure or heavy weather.
DLS System
Fabric: Cordura 500D
The DLS system uses heavy-duty Cordura fabric, known for its durability, abrasion resistance and reliable performance in harsh terrain.
Cordura is highly water-resistant and performs well in wet conditions, but it does not have a waterproof membrane.
Seams and zippers can also here be potential entry points for water during prolonged exposure or heavy weather.
The rifle compartment in our QRR rifle backpacks is large and fits most modern and traditional rifles with optics. For specific dimensions of the rifle compartment, you can find more information here.
If you are unsure, we recommend visiting one of our dealers to test with your rifle.
The system is designed for fast and controlled release when needed, and the rifle can typically be accessed in seconds.
The QRR system allows you to release your rifle quickly from a secure position on your back, without having to remove your backpack.
By pulling the release handle no your shoulder, the rifle compartment unlocks, allowing you to access your rifle quickly and efficiently.
The LT12 has a volume of 12 liters and is ideal for short hunts where mobility and low weight are important.
The differences lies mainly in the volume where EV30 has a 30 liter capacity, while EV45 has a 45 liter capacity.
Both backpacks have the same carrying system and access to the rifle.
The right size depends on how long your hunts are and how much gear you carry.
